Dinghies

The club owns a number of sailing dinghies, some of which are available for hire by club members.

These include:

• 5 x Pico sailing dinghies – 12’ single person general purpose and training boats
• 2 x Wayfarers – four person training boat
• 3 x Laser 2000 – two person training boat.

In addition, the club has three safety boats, which are used for safety duties during racing and training events, they include:

• Rigiflex Newmatic 360 (Tango)
• Committee boat
• Avon Inflatable Boat (RIB).

The Club has the following equipment:

• 10 adult buoyancy aids
• 10 children’s buoyancy aids

The dinghy park: The dinghy park is available for club members to use and store their sailing dinghies and cruisers in the winter. This facility runs parallel to the harbour road.

Dinghy races are organised on most Sundays during the sailing season and Wednesday evenings when tides allow.
