Geoff 07932 771872 Phantom Open Meeting - 30th/31st May11 May : 16:40 Southwold Sailing Club hosts Round 4 of the Tempera Tech/JJ Boats Eastern Series over the Whitsun bank Holiday weekend. A training Day will take place on Saturday 29th May, followed by the Open meeting on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st. Entry fee is £20, this will include a meal on the Sunday evening. Report to follow. Overall Results 80's Night at Southwold Sailing Club04 May : 10:37 The 80's night held at Southwold Sailing Club was a roaring success! Members and their friends danced the night away to hits from bands such as Blondie, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Human League. Many dressed up in 80's clothes to really enhance the evening! The evening was organised by Debbie Bougart, Alex Clack and Julie Heal to raise money for the Youth Sailing section of the club. Thanks to Brian and Peter for running the busy bar, to Dirk and Debbie for providing the food and to Alex Clack for booking the excellant disco and printing the tickets and posters. I am pleased to say that from a combination of ticket sales, food and sale of Adnams wine we have raised £118.39 towards the Youth Sailing section. All profits from the bar that evening (and there should be plenty!) will go towards the main club fund.
